Reaching for the Sky!
I was so excited when I saw how this picture turned out. I took this while standing in my backyard. It was my first time out of the house in several days and it was gorgeous. The sky was blue and the air was crisp. Gracie and I took a walk around Ellis Cement Pond and Grill. It is a real treat for my sweet little four-legged buddy to walk around outside, she gets just as tired of staying inside as I do.
We took our regular route - down the sidewalk to the mailbox, then across the front to the edge of the woods. We checked out the garden spot - no tomatoes or beans left to pick now. The okra plants grew so tall that okra pods (is that what they are called?) were out of reach. They reminded me of Jack and the Beanstalk.
We inspected the 'Cement Pond' that is closed now for the winter, then wandered off into the back yard. I stood at the foot of these trees looking up at the sky. The branches look like arms raised in worship, reaching up to give praise to their Creator. I followed their lead my standing there for awhile, praise my God for all of His blessings He just keeps pouring over me.
